Rock legends to play US 'mega-festival


Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan have been affirmed for the line-up of a US "uber celebration" this October. 

Called Desert Trip, the three-day occasion will occur at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, California - the site of the Coachella music celebration. 

The Who, Roger Waters and Neil Young are likewise on the bill. 

Exhibitions will begin after dusk, with every craftsman playing a full set.

Each of the six of the entertainers have been accepted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 

Bits of gossip about the show started to flow a month ago, after the principal few days of Coachella. 

The Who's Roger Daltrey later affirmed to BBC 6 Music that the celebration was prone to proceed, portraying it as a rare line-up. 

"We need to face it, we are [at] the end of a time," the vocalist told 6 Music's Matt Everitt. "We're the remainder of our era." 

"You can see from perusing the eulogies recently that we [rock stars] don't make old bones extremely well, do we?" 

The LA Times said Dylan and the Stones were relied upon to open the celebration with consecutive exhibitions on Friday, 7 October, with McCartney and Young playing the next night, and Waters and the Who finishing up procedures on 9 October.
