Fake bomb strengths Air France flight to make Kenya crisis landing

An Air France

The Boeing 777, on its way from Mauritius to Paris, was emptied at Mombasa air terminal and the suspicious gadget taken away for examination.

Air France boss Frederic Gagey later said it was made of a cardboard box, paper and a clock.

He portrayed it as a "greatly forceful act".

The plane, conveying 459 travelers and 14 team, had left Mauritius at 01:00 GMT and had been because of fly specifically to Charles de Gaulle air terminal in Paris.

A few travelers from the flight have been addressed by Kenyan police.
