New Delhi --At slightest seven individuals are dead after shooters propelled an assault on an Indian flying corps base close to the outskirt with Pakistan on Saturday, authorities said.
A gathering of shooters assaulted the Pathankot flying corps base in the northwestern condition of Punjab.
An Indian government official told CNN that two individuals from the Indian Security Forces, one non military personnel, and four of the aggressors were slaughtered in the subsequent gunfight. One aggressor is accepted to have accessed the base and is squatted inside.
"The operation is progressing," the authority said.
Prior, an Indian Defense Ministry representative, Dhananjay Mohanty, said the assailants were "caught" before they could storm the Pathankot airbase and that the circumstance was under control.
No gathering has guaranteed obligation regarding the activity.
